Earth:

The third planet from the Sun and one of four global planets in the inner solar system. Earth, the only planet where water exists in large amount, has an atmosphere able of supporting myriad life forms. The planet is 150 million kilometers (93 million miles) far away from the Sun. Earth has one satellite — the Moon.

Electromagnetic Force:

A basic force that governs all interactions among electrical charges and magnetism. Basically, all charged particles attract oppositely affecting particles and keep away identically charged particles. Similarly, conflicting poles of magnets draw and like magnetic poles repel.

Electromagnetic Spectrum:

The entire variety of wavelengths of electromagnetic emission, including radio waves, microwaves, infrared light, noticeable light, ultraviolet light, X-rays, and gamma rays.

Erosion:

Natural processes that wear or grind away the outside of an object. On Earth, the major agents of corrosion are water and wind.

Escape Velocity:

The minimum velocity necessary for an object to escape the magnitude of a massive object.
